know your priorities
Hello Charice
Me and my family love you. And we are not filipinos. I ordered all your Cd from the Phil. I purchased all your songs on Itunes. We watched your concert every time you have one here in California and in Las Vegas. My whole family & friends supporting you the very best they can. Because we do believe on your raw talents.
Being a non-Filipino fans, we kinda feel being left out every time you show more interest in thanking the filipino audiences than the rest of us. You have to play a fair game, Charice. You are trying so hard to please them, espe. the ones in the Phil. But these Filipino audiences back there doesn't even care about you. Bec. Sarah G. already charmed them. Yes, you do have fans over there, but only a fraction of them compare it to Sarah's. Don't you realize it by now, that your window of opportunities lies here in U.S? Isn't it a wise decision to concentrate your musical career here in U.S? Do you know that David Foster is having a hard time launching your career and introducing you with the younger audiences? You should set your priorities straight. If you really want to be a very successful international artist, then you need to set aside Phil. first, till you reach the very top of your goal. But right now, you have to focus on your U.S career, while David Foster still have this patience in helping you.
It does hurts us and breaks our heart, because you look so pitiful every time, you appeared on Asap. We feel so sorry for you. It is so obvious that these Asap girls are just faking it when they praise you. In fact, they are making fun of you, but you are too blind to see it. Whatever you are trying to prove to them, you already did. These Asap girls already know that you are way,way a lot better than them. In fact, they are jealous and envious towards you. It is time for you to wake up and smell the coffee. Be a street smart. And always keep your two feet on the ground. Avoid having a big head. Be a wise spender. Save lots of money, bec. every thing has an end.
I agree with Kloneh
Hello Charice :-)
I am a big Filipino fan of yours but I'm here in the US. Since I'm nowhere close to any of the venues where you perform, the only source I have is youtube. One day, I literally spent the entire day in bed (this was when I got sick) just watching your videos in my laptop and I felt like it was the greatest medicine. I first found you early of 2008 when my husband and I looked for videos of the song "Alone" by Heart. We're both musicians. We ran into your video when you were singing at home in a karaoke. We were just browsing and you blew us away!! I didn't even know you were joining singing contests, etc... The next time I searched youtube for your name, I saw your performances in Ellen Degeneres, in a British talk show, and David Foster and Friends in Las Vegas. Your voice is so addicting that I couldn't stop searching for you. That's when I have officially called myself a huge Charice fan. I even watched your life story that was televised in MMK which I also saw in youtube (they were broken down in 6 segments). Even my husband, who loves rock music better, has come to love your voice and your music.
In relation to what Kloneh posted above, I agree that the people over here in the US appreciate you more than in the Philippines. It's a painful truth, but I agree. I love my homeland (Philippines) but I don't like the crabby mentality that most Filipinos have. You really don't need to prove anything to them. I'm sure you're getting more professional advices from your manager, your mentor, David Foster, and other people who truly believe in you and your career. You are an international star now, and I am very excited to see your success and for your star to shine even brighter. Your fans love you very much...include me as one of them. Stay close to God. Nothing happens by accident. Everything that has happened to you from the first day you existed in this world has been planned by our creator...even the pain that you went through with your father when you were growing up. It wasn't even an accident that God gave David Foster and Oprah. They're all like puzzle pieces that form a big beautiful picture...and your big beautiful picture is about to unravel. People will love you for who you are, dear. Our family doesn't like Miley Cyrus because she's just going to be just like all of them (celebrities who really do not have real talents). But you are D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T and your talent exceeds most so-called talents they have in the music industry now.
God bless you always and we, your fans, will always be here to support you. We're very, very anxious to buy your new album. :-D
