New Look (GKNB aired 10/19/2009)

Hi Charice,

I have seen you sing before and for sure you have definitely improved a lot. I like the way you hit notes... its clean.

Ok, now for a little constructive criticism. I know you need to have a new look for your up coming pop R&B album next year. However, I don't think that your new look suits you. Your look on this web page's header is YOU and you look prettier here than your new look now. Your face is too bronze. You are Filipina... a subtle mild, natural beige will be best on your skin tone for makeup. Your hair makes you look like you are from African-American origin. Again, you are not. You are Filipina. Your eyeshadow makeup makes your eyes look even more smaller on camera. Again, your makeup and look is perfect on this web page's header. In my opinion, this is the more natural you. You don't need to look black to sing R&B. Trust me. You are beautiful just as you are. Please do not change your look just cause. And finally, the way you sing. Before you used to be able to connect with the audience because you face them and make eye contact.

Now, from the 2 shows I have seen you in the Philippines (I can't remember where I saw you singing A Note to God), you always have your head down, singing with your eyes closed and you do not connect with the audience with your eyes (guess its coz your eyes is soooo small now coz of the choice of eyeshadow color and style). YOU DO HAVE A GREAT VOICE. Thing is, I don't feel the songs you sung on the 2 occassions I watched you. LOVED the outfit. Its perfect for your age - really cool. BUT please, go back to the old you in makeup, hair sytle (oh not the one with hairclips and ribbons, but the soft curls would do). And I am very positive that you will reach more audience and connect with more audience this way.

Ok, I talked way too much already. Just know that I am writing this not to criticize you but to give you feedback as to what I see and those who watched you in my house last week and today.
