Your Sexy Attire
Ms Charice ur performance here in Chicago Oct 21 is of course as usual Amazing, Awesome, great performance, but the impact is lesser now than before 'cause the problem is your attire. Its very disturbing to all your fans eyes, u r very sexy here, well in fact its not yet time for you to dress like this, well we guess its not your idea. You are only 17 years old, three more years, after 19 you will not be Teen-ager anymore, thats the time you can dress like this and acceptable to everybody. Have you noticed ur performance here is just like a plain great performer and singer, thats good but the magic has gone ! Lets go back in the past, remember the whole world noticed and saw you, and loved by us your fans, because u r "The Young girl with the Big Voice" everybody saw you performed young & sweet plus your attire is right for your age, so there is Magic & goose-bump because there was a very big difference between your looks and your voice & performance. You know how it happens in the past, first in Korea, then in Ellen, in Oprah, especially your Duet with Celine in MSG, this is how = "Oh this cute & young little girl, Oh my Gosh she has a big voice and big perfomance" Wow theres is magic and Full Impact!! Everybody will not forget what happened to your duet with Celine, it is called "The History Duet" we saw you, your looks so young & sweet, as everybody did say in the concert "Oh this girl has a big and beautiful voice" so you see theres Magic and Full Impact of your performance, the secret is BETWEEN YOUR LOOKS AND YOUR BIG VOICE. Oh my gosh you blew the roof of Madison Square Garden. Your looks there in Mandalay Bay Las Vegas is also Ok. So if you will listen to my piece of advice, its for your own good at your career. Please dont try to imitate the attires of your idols Mariah, Whitney, Celine, etc. they are at mature age and their names are already established so no problem for them, they can dress whatever they want but still their names are already there in the Heavenly Stars ! nobody can change that ! but you, you are still in the road to Stardom, of course I'm still your #1 fan, we will always support you in anyway, wait and be patient after three years you're no longer Teen-ager and we hope of course that time your name is already established and you belong there up in the Heavenly Stars with them, you can dress whatever you want and nobody can say NO or Stop you..We hope on your next concert it will be better Attire.. God Bless you and your Mom and brother. Good Luck Charice!!! see u on next concert LABYO
Your Sexy Attire
I totally agree with you Ms. Barkenmisty. As the classic rule in fashion goes, "Dress your age. (Act your age.)" By the same token, it would also be disconcerting to watch Charice 50 years from now still dressed like a teenager, you know what I mean. Her totality when she sang "Note to God" on Oprah was sheer perfection. I suggest she gets a professional stylist.
Your BS
You have no right to tell Charice what to wear...what's the matter with you?
Let the girl wear what makes her feel good and mind your own business.
Trust me, this girl does not need, want or care about your "advice".
It is 2009 not 1959....so lay off and go find something better to do.
Have a nice day.
Hello there
Hello there luvcharice09. Thanks a lot for ur time reading my comments. Oh i just woke-up from 1959, now its 2009, wow im so old already, LOL, i think theres nothing Destructive about my comments. Maybe im just too conservative. Maybe u just dont get what is the Magic i am telling about. Of course there are so many fans from 1959 who are watching her perform, but that is not the point. The Talent, she has it already and perhaps more than some great singers. The real magic i am telling about is everytime she performs, everybody watch her and look at her image as the cute young girl and the sound is like coming from the big womans voice. Thats why theres Magic and Big Impact on her performances. Its goose-bump as they say. For you i think you have other reasons about my comments. So let me tell you my friend luvcharic09, im so sorry for whatever you think i commented was bad, i dont mean those. I just wanted to be constructive critic. Perhaps im still not awake, or maybe im still dreaming and wanting to see her perform as the young girl with the big voice and big talent. You know that is how she was noticed by the whole world and being discovered at that aspects. I see u have a photo side by side with DF, i guess u r from Charice Camp, i dont know, so what can i say, but one thing for sure is that we are not enemies, i am her fan. We both love Ms Charice and concerned about her career,... Well I guess its up to Charice and her Camp to take or not my advise... Have a nice day too !!!!
wear anything you want.
charice don't listen to this person. if someone goes up to you in person and said that PUNCH THEM IN FACE!!
Charice's Attire
Boys, girls. Can't we be civil about this? Of course Charice has a "right" to wear anything she wants. At the same time, what's the problem with expressing one's opinion? She's not forcing her will on Charice. It's not like the comment said, "She better change the way she dresses or else..." It's just one person's opinion, pure and simple. I have no reason to suspect that it's not from the heart.
"Punch them in the face"? My God, is this what you would do if someone who really idolized you said, "I think you would look better in red than in blue"?
Personally, I think she makes some valid points. Just look at the Charice of "My Heart Will Go On" versus the Charice of just a year later. There's no question that they're dramatically different. Is there anything wrong with longing for the Charice of just a year ago?
For me, I'm uncomfortable with the lyrics, "When I was young, I never needed anyone, making love was just for fun" being sung by a 17-year-old who, for all I know, may not have even had her first kiss. Even though I know it's "just a song" and is sung as an homage to Celine Dion, there's no getting around the meaning of that phrase. Am I prudish? Perhaps. But no one can deny the validity of my feelings.
To summarize, let's take a cue from Rodney King (victim of police brutality in LA riots): "Can't we all just get along, people?"
Charice's changing looks and sound
Charice's voice and talent are awesome - without them she would have been just another cute kid with a good voice. So I don't agree that her initial impact, the "goosebumps factor," was because she was so young and small - and talented. It was because she is so talented.
And she is growing up. Should she dress age appropriate? Based on what culture? I have a friend in China in her mid-20's who dresses like an American 15 yo.
Should she sing only song's that are age appropriate? Yea, when I first heard her do "All By Myself," I was a little silly. But she does such an awesome job on the song.
Charice has definitely had a makover, hair lightened and waved. The look is older. Based on the utube clips of Fingerprint and Pyramid, her sound is getting a makeover, too, more youthful, mainstream American.
Every good artist grows and evolves. We might not like the changes, but then we don't have to buy their work. I love Charice and hope she has a terrific and long career.
Its Mr Face Puncher to you...
i mean has it accure to anyone that she might of chosen those clothes and hair style? come on now.. she is growing up its 2010 and there is a reason why her album is coming out now and not way back when.
